“COTTON’S NATURAL WORLD" COMPETITION

To celebrate the ‘International Year of Natural Fibres’, COTTON USA partnered with Vogue, Glamour and Easy Living to hold a competition to create a new cotton-inspired design for a T-shirt. From May 1st until June 15th readers were invited to show off their “natural flair” and submit their photo, graphic design or drawing that captured the essence of cotton in natural surroundings.

Featured across the three prestigious websites, the competition was promoted with eye-catching images of models in Californian cotton fields wearing an exclusive range of COTTON USA sponsored clothes by top Colombian designer Julieta Suarez. Encapsulating the soft and sensual image of cotton, the images are also being featured in COTTON USA’s new advertising campaign.

With photographic prizes worth almost £1,000, the winning entry will also be put forward to compete against “Cotton's Natural World” global competition entries. Running in 10 countries, the global finalist will win a fantastic trip for two to New York.
